No matter how virtual a world we live in, even my daughters want to be able to hold books in their hands.  The Crowded Kingdom, the fairy tale novel I wrote for my two little girls, is now a real full-color illustrated paperback they can hold in their hands.

I took the leap and formatted it for print, with crisp white paper and full-color illustrations, with pages you can dog-ear and covers you can bend back.  I know I came of age as an author in the digital world, but we are still living in a materials world.  Like a proud mother, I took digital snapshots (see below).  And, like a green author, I made it print on demand, so we only print what we can consume.
